As we approach this Holiday season let us remember that we can choose to take our time and enjoy each day and moment with our friends and our families or we can choose to become caught up in the rushing and trying to get everything done syndrome. It is entirely up to us. Just remember that it is the time we spend with each other that truly matters the most at the end of the day. It is not about how much we spend or how much we bring to the table to eat or who buys who the biggest present. This season is about celebrating the time together and allowing ourselves to truly enjly that time. I ran across a great quote and would love to share it with all of you " happiness is a fragrance of your soul" unknown author . Remember to enjoy the Holiday season and take time out to enjoy one another.
What a glorious quote from Tama Kieves! We each in our own way are in a transition of some kind. If we allow ourselves to open up and listen not just with our ears but our entire being we will realize that transition is occurring within us as much as it is around us. As I have come to realize this I have also come to realize that if I step back and evaluate what it is that I would like those around me to receive from me I have a lot more patience and understanding. I can only change myself, my attitude, my way of looking at the situation. I am the change!

Watch your thoughts. They become words.
Watch your words. They become actions.
Watch your actions. They become habits.
Watch your habits. They become character.
Watch your character. It becomes your destiny.
I wonder what the world would be like if we all lived by this philosophy?
