What do you do when life happens?
That is what has been going on with me this past week. I have the best intentions to meet my deadlines I have set yet I am also a full time caregiver for my 89-year-young Mom. The best intentions can be derailed by an emergency.
So what can you do?
Get frustrated, irritated? Or as a friend of mine says, "Put your big girl panties on and move on." That isn't always easy and it isn't always the solution. Sometimes in life we just need to experience the anxiety, the worry and the exhaustion. We have to give ourselves permission to breathe, relax, or take a nap.
Take care of your needs and then you can care for others. Yep, that is where I am today.
How about you?
