I have always said to clients, friends and family that when a door opens walk through it you'll be amazed at what you can discover by doing this. Well ten years ago a HUGE door opened for me and I made the decision to walk through it. I had the opportunity to move to another state but had three weeks in which to do it!
I packed up a few of my most important material items (I had the lightest load on the moving van!) and sold the majority of my stuff. I packed up the car with the remaining items and my cat Leah and proceeded to drive the 23 hours to my new home which was an apartment I found on the internet! I moved to a town where I had no safety net, I didn't know a single person except for the two people who had interviewed me for the job and I had only met them for about an hour. I was surprised when I was leaving at the amount of support from my friends and how many of them thought I was brave. I just thought that it was the right door to go through at the time. I have always lived my life like this and it has taken me to a lot of great and interesting places.... Brave? maybe, Interesting DEFINITELY!!!! Life is too short to second guess yourself go through the door and see where it leads..... Comments are closed.
