I was asked today if one of my strengths, which is gratitude, could ever be a negative thing? This led me to reflect on gratitude and what it means for me. I end each day with a reflection on what it is that I am grateful for and have bought a small journal to write down two or three things for the day. I also try to always look at the plus side of a situation. This is not always easy. Here is a prime example my air conditioning unit quit and yesterday was a record high in Tallahassee, FL a whopping 105 degrees. However, I found a person who is going to take payments for repairing my air conditioner and we had one terrific storm come through to cool off the area so the house was actually pleasant. Am I perfect NOPE there are days when I struggle to fined two or three things to be grateful for but I TRY. Picture a rubber band we can all stretch the trick is to know when to relax so we don't snap! For me finding something to be grateful for is my way of relaxing. What about you? What are you grateful for?
